Mission Statement:
We seek to provide assistance to the various components of The University of
Texas-Houston Health Science Center for the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of programs as they relate to students, faculty, staff, patients, and our community.
Goals and Objectives:
Our primary goal is to conduct self-assessment and evaluation studies for all UT-Houston schools and areas.  As part of this goal, our department objective has continued to perform benchmark studies related to evaluating the effectiveness of programs at UT-Houston. Our secondary goals include assisting various schools and areas of UT-Houston by performing proprietary management studies, coordination of institutional effectiveness issues in reports for academic accreditation and federal reporting requirements, promoting credibility and visibility of our program within the institution, outside peer groups, and other area health science centers, and continuing to develop methods of assessment of program outcomes.
