Educational Award Selection Committee
General Responsibilities

Members of the University Classified Staff Council Educational Award Selection Committee are charged with the task of selecting candidate(s) to receive awards from applications submitted by children of full-time classified employees of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

The UCSC Educational Award Committee will meet mid April of each year to determine the recipient(s) of the award(s). Committee members are responsible for attending meetings and reviewing applications made available prior to each meeting.

This handbook, which includes the Committee Bylaws and Operating Procedures serves as a resource for committee members and for others interested in the UCSC Educational Award Program.

This year's deadline for award submissions will be forthcoming. Completed applications can be sent to the sub-committee chair, Sandra Hernandez, 7000 Fannin St., UCT 902, Houston, TX 77030.
